The Mountfield 1538 H speed changes are smooth from a standing start and with electromagnetic blade engagement, it is easy to use and highly efficient.

The cut quality is superb and clippings can either be collected in the 240-litre collector fitted at the rear of the garden tractor or, after fitting the mulching plug supplied, can be finely cut as you mow and discharged back onto the lawn surface.

Once there they rot down adding vital nutrients back into the soil. If using the collector emptying is easy – it can all be done from the driver’s seat.

Seven different blade heights are possible meaning that the 1538H can tackle every lawn length with ease. The 1538 H Twin is backed by a five-year extended warranty.
