I was briefly introduced in our Summer Newsletter edition or you may have met me already by popping into our store. I’ve been working full time here at Tom Williams Garden Machinery for 8 months now. Looking back I seem to have achieved a lot in that time from organising our 2 day Open Event (which believe me is no mean fete) to planning our stand for Dunster Show. Both events were great fun but the amount of planning that goes into them is something else. Would I do them again, the answer is most definitely yes. It gave me a sense of real achievement.

I’ve also started our seasonal quarterly Newsletter, which we’re now into our second edition and this is where you my readers will come in. If your wanting tips on how to use your machines correctly or how to maintain your lawn or any other aspect of your garden. Then let me know. It would be great for me as well as I’m still learning, who knew that there would be so many different things to learn regarding Garden Machinery.

My previous role was as a Civil Servant which believe me is completely different, the only similar thing is that I’m still interacting with people. If someone had said to me a few years ago that I would be selling lawn mowers, chainsaws etc. I most certainly wouldn’t have believed them…. but here I am doing exactly that.
