KERRY’S OCTOBER BLOG 22
I really don’t know where October has gone. What a busy month it’s been. To me having to turn my property (which is 100 miles away) around to rent out again in 3 weeks, to organising our 25th Anniversary Autumn clear up event. I managed to pull both off with a little help from my Parents. Good old Mum and Dad where would we be without them….
I do love organising the events that we do, from planning the marketing to designing the invites/adverts (or should I say getting the Printer to design) I just advise him of what I want on the invites/adverts etc, they do the rest and I do have to say they do a great job. Thank you to Mark at First Design Print Web. I think he is beginning to understand my emails with a load of photos and ideas I have. It’s easy to have these ideas in your head but when putting them down on paper, well that’s another matter but Mark seems to understand what I’m wanting with both my Newsletters and Invites etc.
I also love going through our Data Base here, to see who I’m going to invite and I have a method/system in doing this. As the saying goes once a Civil Servant always a Civil Servant… I do love my stats and pie charts etc…
The only thing that I can’t plan with these events is who is going to turn up and who isn’t…. which can be a nightmare when planning the catering… though I do have to admit that I simplified the catering for our Autumn event compared to our Spring one.
As I’m sat here enjoying a cup of coffee and contemplating about everything that happened in October, I’m wondering what November is going to bring…
